With my long time brother Remed, we have been invited by the Spanish embassy of Sarajevo to paint a massive canvas (3,5mx2m) in the bibliotheka of Vijecnica.
This amazing place built in 1894 burnt in flames during the Siege of Sarajevo and is now being reconstructed with the help of the international community. It is definitely a symbol of the capacity of Bosnian people (and human being in general) to get together and move forward to heal the wounds of the past.
As usual when we work together, Remed and I were very aware of this situation and therefore we wanted to spread a message of love, peace and unity through our art.
We were very pleased to offer it to the people of Sarajevo who had been so kind and enthusiastic during this project. Thanks to all.
