This mural is a portrait of the french writer Jules Verne made up with the stories of his books in an Arcimboldo way. The beard is from his novel ‘Twenty Thousand Leagues Under the Sea‘ (1870), the mustache from ‘Journey to the Center of the Earth‘ (1864), the cheekbones from ‘Around the World in Eighty Days‘ (1873), the forehead from the novel ‘From the Earth to the Moon‘ (1865) and the hair is a metaphor of the restless imagination and creativity of this genius through gearing, machines and explosions that were always present in his imaginary.
